TREATMENT

Manual therapy is performed by licensed physical therapists to treat limited range of motion, muscle aches, and joint pain. This therapy encompasses a variety of techniques including joint mobilization, joint manipulation, and soft tissue mobilization.

The most widely used forms of manual therapy are:

  • Massage is the repetitive rubbing, kneading, or stripping of muscle and fascia tissues.
  • Mobilization is a controlled process involving the stretching of articular and soft tissue to improve joint mobility.

Manual Therapy is a proven method in treatment plans for a variety of conditions including but not limited to:

  • Tennis Elbow
  • Capsule Tightness

  • Postsurgical Stiffness
