Jim Irvin graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science/Biomechanics from Arizona State University. He then went on to get his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Jim is a valley native and has been practicing physical therapy in the east valley since 1995. His specialties include manual therapy, sports medicine, and therapeutic exercise. Jim's strong background in exercise science research enabled him to patent a piece of exercise equipment used for core stabilization and resistance training. Jim has started multiple training and conditioning programs to enhance the performance of athletes. He has spoken throughout the United States as an instructor in orthopedic aquatic physical therapy and has been a guest lecturer on many occasions at the university, community college, and high school levels on orthopedic physical therapy.
Noah Arenson, PT
Mr. Arenson earned his Master’s degree at Northern Arizona University’s Physical Therapy program and has been practicing in the Valley since 1997. Mr. Arenson has worked in many rehabilitation environments including neurologic, aquatic, and has focused on outpatient orthopedic care. He was named Mesa General Hospital’s “Employee of the Year” in 1999. Noah enjoys working with spine and joint patients and focuses on restoring functional mobility and strength while always incorporating patient education. An Arizona native, he lives in Chandler with his wife and two young sons.
Dallas Lato, PT
Mr. Lato has been a practicing outpatient therapist in the East Valley since 1994 and has worked with a wide-variety of orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular patients. A hands-on clinician, he is an effective manual therapist who uses progressive therapeutic exercise programs to help patients attain their individualized goals. He lives in Tempe with his wife and two young sons.
Stephanie Garrison earned her Doctorate degree at Northern Arizona University's Physical Therapy program and initially worked in both sports rehab and pediatrics. She now focuses on outpatient orthopedic care, with an emphasis on manual therapy and individualized treatment programs. Stephanie is currently working on receiving an advanced manual certification on Paris' techniques. She is an active member of the APTA, with affiliations in the aquatic, sports, and orthopedic chapters. She is also our clinic's education coordinator for physical therapy student internships and mentorship.
Tammy Roehling, PT specializes in the evaluation and treatment of female urinary and fecal incontinence. Effective, non-surgical treatment approaches include educational behavior modification, surface EMG biofeedback, and pelvic floor electrical stimulation. Biofeedback teaches how to correctly use the pelvic floor muscles. Through pelvic muscle exercises, better known as “kegels”, one can achieve significant improvements in their incontinence. Treatment for incontinence has a very high success rate and so much can be done to improve a woman’s quality of life.
Tammy has been a physical therapist for 8 years with an emphasis in incontinence and wound management. Tammy is on faculty at A.T. Still University, has been published in a medical textbook and peer-reviewed journal, has presented research on the national and international level, and has taught courses nationwide. Tammy received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in March 2006.

His articles on "isokinetic training of peak torque angles of the hamstring" and "sports specific training and conditioning utilizing aquatic physical therapy" have been published in several journals. Jim recently completed a year long manual therapy certification with the Ola Grimsby Institute. He is a loud advocate of therapist-based therapeutic exercise and has developed numerous high school and community outreach programs. He has a passion for high school and junior college sports teams. Jim currently is an adjunct faculty member at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. He is married and has two children.
